My Sunshine

As our last song before bed I always sing "You are My Sunshine" to Ethan. Tonight, as we were winding down, he beat me to it. He put one hand on my face and sang our (shortened, with "and I love you more everyday" in place of "please don't take my sunshine away") version of the song to me. Couldn't hug him tight enough!

"I need some helps!"--No explanation needed.
"I Wan a Pick You Up"--Pick me up Mommy!
"I NO LIKE IT!"--I really don't want whatever you are giving me and I've momentarily forgotten that I'm supposed to say, "No, thank you."
"Some-fing else"--I need more choices, I don't want this video, snack, crayon, etc.
"All Friends"--I want all my stuffed animals and my blanket from my crib with me right now! Also used to describe pictures of family members together.
"Not okay Mommy"--I do not like what you just told me to do or not to do.
"Fix Pants"--My elastic bottomed pants are riding up to my knees and I don't like it. (He recently figured out how to do this himself, so I don't hear this one much anymore.)
